coloured-raine cruelty-free cut-crease half-cut-crease pictorial tutorial

Glitter Half Cut Crease Pictorial using Coloured Raine eyeshadows, NYX mousse eyeliner, Urban Decay Glitter Eyeliner and Essence Mascara

Whenever I want to feel good about my makeup I tend to do a warm-toned half cut crease. I think that looks so flattering.
That look can be a little bit intimidating but I think once you got the hang of it it’s pretty easy.
So here I show you now how I always like to create this look with some of my favorite eyeshadows (which are Coloured Raine eyeshadows).

Products I used for this glitter half cut crease:

  • Concealer (as an eyeshadow primer)
  • Face powder/ skin toned eyeshadow color (to set the eyelid)
  • Coloured Raine eyeshadows in Glisten, St. Germain Cocktail, Downtown, Angel Face, Native, Moments, Black Moon
  • NYX Epic Black Mousse Liner
  • Urban Decay Heavy Metal Glitter Eyeliner in Midnight Cowboy
  • Essence I Love Extreme Volume Mascara Waterproof
  • Brushes: Zoeva 228, Zoeva 227, Sigma Beauty E56, BDelliumtools 773, Zoeva 237, Zoeva 312, Morphe E17, Dose Of Colors pencil brush, Luxie Beauty 237

STEP 1:

First I prime my eyelids with concealer and set them with powder. Then I apply the shade Angel Face mixed with Native as my transition shade in my crease and a little bit higher (with a Zoeva 228).

STEP 2:

To deepen the crease I apply the shade Moments in the crease and the outer corner (with a Zoeva 227).

STEP 3:

To create a half cut crease I apply some concealer (with a Sigma E56) in a moon shape on the inner part of my eyelid. I like to draw it a little bit higher than my crease so you can see the shape when my eyes are opened, too.

STEP 4:

After that I apply the shade Downtown (on a BDelliumtools 773) on the center of my lid where I created the cut crease and blend it into my outer corner.

STEP 5:

On the inner part of the half cut crease I apply the shade St. Germain Cocktail (with a Zoeva 237) and blend it into the previous shade.

STEP 6:

Then I apply my eyeliner with a Zoeva 312.

STEP 7:

To deepen the look even more I apply the shade Black Moon (with a Morphe E17) in my outer corner and blend it into my crease.

STEP 8:

After wiping away the eyeshadow fall-out under my eyes and doing my base makeup I start doing my lower lashline. First I apply Moments and Black Moon mixed (on a Dose Of Colors pencil brush) on the outer part of my lower lashline. To blend that out I use the shade Native (on a Luxie Beauty 237).
On the inner part of my lower lashline I apply the shade St. Germain Cocktail (with a Zoeva 237).

STEP 9:

After doing my eyebrows and highlighting my inner corner and browbone with Glisten (with a Zoeva 237) I curl my lashes and apply mascara.
Lastly I use the gold glitter eyeliner to create a fun detail along the half cut crease.

Finished Look:

Coloured Raine eyeshadows in Glisten, St. Germain Cocktail, Downtown, Angel Face, Native, Moments, Black Moon, NYX Epic Black Mousse Liner, Urban Decay Heavy Metal Glitter Eyeliner in Midnight Cowboy, Essence I Love Extreme Volume Mascara Waterproof
