Immensus Cosmetics Pressed Glitter

I love using glitter on my eyes but they can be super messy to work with. But while browsing through Instagram I came across these pressed glitters from Immensus cosmetics and I got really intrigued to try them.

Product information:

  • Each eyeshadow retails for 3.45 £ or 3.87 € (immensuscosmetics.com).
  • Total net weight approx 3 g / 0.10 oz. (pan size: 26mm)
  • Claims: “Made using the highest grade ingredients to ensure it is extremely pigmented and made to last. You do not require any glue to apply this product. The formula will stick to the eyes like magic by following simple steps and will not cause any fall outs. ”
  • Cruelty free
  • So all in all you pay about 1.15 £ (1.29 €) per gram or 34.50 £ (38.70 €) per ounce

Swatches:

Immensus Cosmetics Pressed Glitter Swatches: Rose Gold, Love Chocolate, Red Rubies, Emerald Green

Formula:

The glitter eyeshadows have a gel-like texture and that is probably why you don’t need a glitter primer. They really adhere to your eyelids on their own. But that gel-like texture makes you feel like your eyelids  are wet the whole day. But that didn’t really bother me personally.

On their website they recommend using a brush and to swipe gently in one direction. But I personally think these glitters apply best with your finger.
I tried the pressed glitters with and without an eyeshadow primer. Immensus Cosmetics says that you don’t need one but I wanted to know if it makes any difference. The application with and without the glitter primer is the same. The only difference I noticed is that if you touch the glitter (e.g. to blend eyeshadow in the crease or touch your eye throughout the day) it will have some fallout when not primed. But other than that these glitters wear beautifully each way.
These glitters remove really easily with water. So you have to be careful if you wear these glitters in the rain or if you have watery eyes.

Pros:

  • Price
  • Easy to use
  • Look as amazing as loose glitters

Cons:

  • Remove too easy with water (you have to be careful when it rains,…)

Final thoughts:

I do really like these pressed glitters!

I will definitely get a lot use out of them because they are just so easy to work with.

However you have to keep in mind that they come off pretty easy when getting wet. But other than that they are amazing!
