Formula:
The Anastasia Beverly Hills single eyeshadows is one of my favorite eyeshadow formula ever. BUT the eyeshadow formula of this palette is different. These shadows are definitely more powdery (I don’t really mind that). Some are nice and creamy but some of them are more dry and chalky (‘Love Letter’, ‘Venetian Red’, ‘Realgar’). The shimmery shades are supposed to be metallic. But I don’t think so at all. They are just normal shimmery shades in my opinion.
Pros:
- I love the shade range
- Very pigmented
- Most shades are creamy
Cons:
- Price
- Very powdery
- Some shades are a dry and chalky
- ‘Metallic’-shades are not really metallic
Final thoughts:
I mainly love this palette because of the shade range. I personally just wish there was a matte black in there.
The quality of these eyeshadows is okay. They are very pigmented but because they are more powdery and some of them are a little dry I don’t enjoy this palette that much. I personally think that the Anastasia Beverly Hills single eyeshadows are way better!
So all in all I think if you like the shades, don’t mind powdery eyeshadows and you don’t mind spending that much money on a palette I recommend it. Otherwise I recommend their single eyeshadows.
I personally don’t regret buying this palette. But I probably wouldn’t repurchase it.
