Even though I think a halo cut crease is not the most flattering look on me personally I love doing them! They look so good on so many other people. It’s smokey but also nice and clean.
I feel like they look pretty complicated but once you get the hang of it they are actually pretty easy to do.
Products I used for this pink halo cut crease:
- Concealer (as an eyeshadow primer)
- BH Cosmetics X Shaaanxo The Remix – 18 Color Shadow Palette
- Essence Keep It Perfect! Make-up Fixing Spray
- Essence Essence Long Lasting Eye Pencil in Black Fever
- Essence I Love Extreme Volume Mascara Waterproof
- Brushes: Morphe E30, Bdellium Tools 776, Makeup Geek Small Crease Brush, Zoeva 237, Zoeva 317
Step By Step Makeup Pictorial:

Step 1 – 3 of Pink Halo Cut Crease Makeup Pictorial/ Tutorial using the BH Cosmetics x Shaaanxo The Remix Palette
STEP 1:
First of all I prime my eyelids with some concealer and set it with the eyeshadow called clarity (on a Morphe E30). After that I apply the shade Baby Girl (on a Bdellium Tools 776) as my transition shade. I like to apply my crease shades a little bit higher because I have slightly hooded eyes and I also want to see the crease colors when my eyes are open.
STEP 2:
In the next step I use the shade Vampette and apply it mainly on the inner and outer corner of my eye (on a Makeup Geek Small Crease Brush). With the same brush I also blend it into the previous shade and into my crease. To deepen it up a little bit I do the same thing with a little bit of the shade Silhouette.
Also after each step I like to go over everything with my previous blending brushes to make sure everything is well blended.
STEP 3:
After that I apply the shade Holy Grail in the center of my eyelid (on a Zoeva 237). To make the eyeshadow more intense I first dip my brush in the eyeshadow, directly spray the brush with some of the Essence makeup fixing spray and then apply it. I recommend using a flat shader brush for this so you have more precision to create the cut in the crease with this eyeshadow. Again I apply the eyelid shade a little bit higher so you can still see it when my eyes are open.

Step 4 – 6 of Pink Halo Cut Crease Makeup Pictorial/ Tutorial using the BH Cosmetics x Shaaanxo The Remix Palette
STEP 4:
Next I use my previous blending brushes to blend the eyeshadow into my inner and outer corner.
STEP 5:
To get a more defined cut crease I apply some of Vampette along the cut (with a Zoeva 317) and lightly blend it upwards.
STEP 6:
Afterwards I apply some eyeliner. I used the Essence long lasting eye pencil in black fever. I really like this pencil (especially for my waterline) but it’s not that precise. But you can easily clean it up in the next step.

Step 7 – 9 of Pink Halo Cut Crease Makeup Pictorial/ Tutorial using the BH Cosmetics x Shaaanxo The Remix Palette
STEP 7:
Now I clean up the under eye area and the outer corner. For that I use some eyecream (or makeup remover) on a cotton swab and create a clean line on the outer corner. After that I apply my face makeup.
Then I put the shade Vampette and a little bit of Silhouette (on a Makeupgeek Small Crease Brush) in the inner and outer part of my lower lashline. To blend them out I use the shade Baby girl (on a Bdellium Tools 776).
STEP 8:
After that I apply the eyeshadow in Holy Grail in center of my lower lashline (on a Zoeva 237).
STEP 9:
Last step is to do my eyebrows, curl my lashes and apply Mascara (Essence I love Extreme Volume Mascara).
